Cyprus School of Music's creative vocal ensemble will meet on Thursday evenings this summer. This group is for strong vocalists and musicians, ages 9-13 who will work on creating harmonies to songs and use their creativity to develop new arrangements. The focus will be singing so all students will sing together in this group.
Students will come up with creative, high-level vocal arrangements to their songs, and work together to prepare for the Summer Music Challenge recital on August 19th at 1:00 p.m. The song choices will be family-friendly.
This group will meet on Thursdays for 45 minutes during the Thursdays listed below.

Reed Grimm's Bio:
Born to a musical family, Reed Grimm has been performing on the stage since the remarkable age of 2 years old. Reed studied music and philosophy at UW-La Crosse where he co-founded the band Shoeless Revolution in which he is both lead singer and drummer. Through Shoeless Revolution, as well as performing with family members, friends and others, Reed has toured extensively around the country. Reed is well known as a semi-finalist on American Idol, and is well loved by his students at Cyprus. He brings joy and passion to his work, inspiring all.
Debra G.'s Bio
Debra G is a professional singer/songwriter, performer, and vocal coach with 18 years of diverse vocal and performance experience and extensive college level training in contemporary genres, classical voice, vocal technique, opera and recital performance and vocal pedagogy. Studying vocal performance at the University of WI, Oshkosh has influenced Debra G to constantly push herself to diversify her vocal and performance styles.
Besides being a full time touring, working musician, Debra G is a vocal and songwriting coach at and partners with She Rock She Rock’s Girls Rock and Roll Retreat teaching young woman how to be themselves in the music industry. She also partners with an anti-bullying non-profit organization, playing music and speaking to youth about the importance of standing up for the value of respect in school.
