How do lessons work at CSMA?
Music lessons at CSMA are usually held on a weekly basis with your teacher. Ideally your lesson would be on the same day and time from week to week, although our teachers often provide flexibility if needed. CSMA offers lessons year-round and you can enroll at anytime throughout the year.

Can I try a lesson with a teacher?
Yes! CSMA is proud to offer a FREE introductory lesson for all of our prospective students. We believe that it is important to find the right instructor for our students and will work to ensure that this is acquired. How long is a music lesson?
Most lessons at CSMA range from 30 to 60 minutes, depending on the class format. Group settings are usually in the 30 to 60 minute range. CSMA recommends the following for those interested in individual private lessons:

What is included in music lessons?
Yearly tuition includes 42 lessons per year. 16 in each school year semester and 10 in the summer session. Tuition is broken down into equal monthly payments. Families commit to lessons from their start date until the following August. If a family needs to stop lessons, they may give notice in December for the Spring Semester, or in May for the Summer Session.
Students are encouraged to participate in our recitals and other performance opportunities as they arise throughout the year. Please note that books and other supplies are not included in the tuition and may need to be purchased upon request of your instructor.
