CSMA in the Summer Policies

Summer Camps, Extended Days, All-Inclusive Program, Workshops,
Emergency Form
In order to assure that all parents clearly understand the procedures and policies of CSMA, we ask all parents to read the policies and procedures guide.
Payments & Fees
  • The Materials and Registration Fees  are non-refundable after May 1st.  These fees cover administrative costs and materials that will be purchased  in advance of the summer.
  • I understand that I am responsible for payment for all of the summer camps my child is registered for.
  • If a payment schedule has been chosen (rather than full payment), your account will be charged monthly and will be divided evenly over June, July, and August.
  • There is no reduction in tuition or reimbursement for absences due to illness, holidays, vacation time, or school closings.
  • I understand that if I am more than 30 minutes late to pick up my child and have not notified CSMA, that my emergency contact person will be contacted to pick up my child.  If my emergency contact person is not able to be reached, CSMA will notify the police to see if an accident may have taken place.
  • I understand that I will be charged a late fee of $1 per minute for a late pick-up that is not prearranged with one day’s notice.
  • I understand that I may change my schedule until May 1st.  After May 1, weeks may be added or changed with notice, providing staff and space is available, but the number of weeks may not be reduced or eliminated.
Safety: Pick-up and Contact Information
  • CSMA  must be notified by a parent or guardian in advance and in writing if someone other than those listed on the Child Emergency Form will be picking up their child.  If the person who will be picking up the child is not listed on the emergency form, and you need to notify CSMA  while the child is in care, please email admin@CyprusClassicalAcademy.com stating the first and last name of the person who will be picking up your child.  A valid picture ID must be presented by this person at the time of pickup.
  • I must sign my child in and out daily in the attendance sheet located at the entrance to CSMA
  • I must make sure all my important daily phone numbers and emergency contacts are adequate and up to date.  I understand I must notify CSMA of any new home address and telephone numbers or if I change jobs and have a new work or cell phone number.
In Case of Illness:
  • I will be contacted if my child becomes  ill.  I understand I must arrive to pick up my sick child within one hour.  If I am unable to pick up my child, I will notify CSMA  and state the first and last name of the person who will be picking up the child.
  • I must keep my child home if they have a reportable illness or have the following symptoms:  Fever over 99.6 degrees in the last 24 hours, has vomited in the last 24 hours, or is unable to take part in any of the summer program activities.   In addition, if a child has been prescribed antibiotics, they must remain home for 24 hours after the first dose has been given.
  • If my child requires prescription medication, I understand that I  must fill out a Medication Authorization Form indicating the name of the  medication, the dosage required, and the prescribing doctor. The medication must come in the bottle it was prescribed in with a visible label.  I will leave all medication in the office with Gretchen Eischens or Julie Shipway.  Medication must not be left in lockers or cubbies or in the possession of the child.

Required Items for the Summer Program
All-Inclusive, Extended Day, and Children Age 6 and Under:
  • I understand my child must be dressed in comfortable clothing that is appropriate for the weather conditions and activities for the day.  All children will participate in outside activities unless the weather does not permit it.

Do Not Bring
  • I understand that my child may not bring any toys, money or electronics to CSMA and that any of the above which are discovered will be held by a teacher until the end of the day.  I understand that a parent or authorized pick-up person may retrieve the item at the end of the day.
