In this creative and technical Music Recording class, students will learn the fundamentals to record and mix their own music using professional recording software.
While exploring different microphone types and techniques, they will learn how to capture and process the sound of various instruments. Finally, they will be able to record and mix their instruments.
Krischan Kunkel is a mathematician, professional music producer and educator with 20 years of international experience in the music industry. He has worked in many recording studios around the world, including: London at the Abbey Road Studio, Paisley Park and Flyte Time studios in Minnesota. Most importantly, Mr. Kunkel loves to teach and help students to unfold their creativity and talents.
Prerequisites: Students must be able to play an instrument at least at an advanced beginner level. Recommended age is 10+
