Spring 2017 semester: Playlist #1
This class will give children the opportunity to learn the basics of note reading, tapping rhythms, and playing simple melodies on the piano or xylophone. Our class playlist includes 15-20 songs, ranging from jazz standards and classical repertoire to pop tunes and silly camp songs. Children will also have the opportunity to play hand-held percussion instruments and use their imaginations as we move the music. Your 4-5-year-old will learn the melodic and rhythmic foundations for playing an instrument.
