All the World's a Stage: Fall Play Ages 5-12
The CSMA Fall Play is open to kids ages 5-12 in the general community.
During this class, students will be fully immersed in various aspects of drama. They will audition, rehearse and perform a role in a live stage production. In addition, they will be involved in costume design, prop creation and stage management. Each student will be cast in a role with lines and share in the teamwork needed to produce a successful show. Every week, we will discuss elements of the theatre – including audience awareness and storytelling. We will also learn and practice the elements of any good team, including respecting your cast-mates, hard work, the ability to grow and learn, and that every part is critical to the success of the whole. When it is all said and done, we will have had learned a great deal, had a tremendous amount of fun and experienced the power of live performance.
All students who audition will receive a part in the production. The title of the play and complete schedule will be distributed on the first day. If you have any questions, contact Karen Gainor at [email protected]
