The very successful “How Things Work – the Science of Fixing Things” course is evolving this year into Inventors Club

In 2014-2015, we fixed, well, everything students brought in.  Microwave ovens, laminators, computers, toys, and even a couple of automobiles.  This year, we won’t just fix things, we will invent our own solutions to problems facing our school, homes, and our community.  This will challenge even the more creative thinkers, and teach them how to use a wide range of tools, materials, and engineering practices.  Our goal in Inventors’ Club is to learn to do it all – brainstorm, diagram solutions, build prototypes, and field test them to make sure they work.  As Dr. Vogt’s expertise is in robotics, you can expect a of robot-oriented ideas and more gadgets and widgets and thingamajigs running around the X-ploratoreum classroom.

Course cost - $150  + $20 materials fee.

What Our Families Are Saying

Cyprus School of Music and the Arts has provided our 3 children with an amazing variety of musical opportunities that are very difficult to find for elementary age children (music theory, pop/rock bands, orchestra, ensembles, private instruction, and drama). The instructors provide an individualized ability based education. The quality of instruction has been outstanding. The students are provided with so many opportunities to perform at the school of music and arts as well as other locations in the community. We would highly recommend the school!
